Chefs to End Hunger Partnership
Donating leftover food to the community
With the help of great community partners, Talking Stick Resort is an active member of the Chefs to End Hunger program which transports leftover food from Wandering Horse Buffet directly to the homeless and families in need. Three times a week, wholesale food distributor LA & SF Specialty comes to Wandering Horse Buffet here—and to The Eagles Buffet at Casino Arizona—to pick up unserved food from the buffet. Our chefs help prepare for the pickups by loading specially designed transport boxes and securing them for delivery. The food goes to Phoenix Rescue Mission in Phoenix, which provides a variety of services for those in need.
